While you're snacking on the free bread, which happens to be vegan, figure out what you'd like to order from the range of Cheesecake Factory vegan options.

The Cheesecake Factory may not be known for their vegan options, but they’ve certainly stepped it up in the last few years. There now are several items you can order right off the menu, and others which are easy to veganize with just a few changes. You definitely won’t have to go hungry next time you’re out with your carnivorous friends. Just remember none of the desserts are vegan, so if you’re excited about cheesecake, make a healthy vegan cheesecake to satisfy your sweet tooth.

1. Impossible Burger

The Impossible Burger is a great vegan option if you’re looking for a proper large meal. The impossible patty is served on a brioche bun with vegan cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, onion and a vegan thousand island dressing. If the burger isn’t advertised as vegan, confirm with the staff to make sure the cheese and bun are both dairy and egg free, as some locations vary. Pair the burger with regular french fries or sweet potato fries. Both options are vegan.

The Vegan Cobb Salad makes for an easy vegan meal at The Cheesecake Factory as it requires no swap-outs or tweaks. The salad comes with lettuce, grilled asparagus, avocado, roasted beats, green beans, tomato, carrot, cucumber, quinoa, farro, almonds, toasted pepitas, and The Cheesecake Factory’s house vinaigrette. 

3. Mushroom and Spinach Flatbread Pizza

The Spinach and Mushroom Flatbread Pizza requires just two easy modifications to make it vegan. Ask for no mozzarella and parmesan cheese. You might even be able to swap for vegan cheese. The flatbread is served with garlic and herbs, and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.

Evelyn’s Favorite Pasta is a delicious Cheesecake Factory favorite. Served with broccoli, tomato, zucchini, egglplant, peppers, kalamata olives, onions, garlic and fresh herbs, this dish is full of veggies. The pasta is tossed in your choice of lemon sauce or basil oil. It’s normally made with spaghetti, but you can also opt for gluten-free pasta. Just make sure to order without parmesan cheese, and the meal will be 100% vegan.

5. Thai Chicken Salad

This may sound strange, but if you order the Thai Chicken Salad without the chicken, this dish becomes a Cheesecake Factory vegan option. It is made of lettuce, carrots, cucumbers, rice noodles, bean sprouts, cilantro, sesame seeds and peanuts, all tossed in a Thai vinaigrette. If you’re worried the salad won’t fill you up, consider adding a side of edamame, also completely vegan. 

6. Skinny Asian Chicken Lettuce Wrap Tacos

Similar to the above option, the Skinny Asian Chicken Lettuce Wrap Tacos are completely vegan if you order without chicken. You can ask to substitute the chicken with grilled avocado, if you’d like. Wrapped in butter lettuce leaves are carrots, bean sprouts, cucumber, cilantro and rice noodles. They’re served with a spicy peanut and cashew sauce.

7. Mexican Tortilla Salad

The Mexican Tortilla Salad is served with fried corn tortilla, black beans, romaine lettuce, green and red cabbage, baby lettuce, fresh corn, cilantro, green onions, green salsa, sour cream, french mustard vinaigrette and a cilantro dressing. In order for it to qualify as a Cheesecake Factory vegan option, just make sure to ask for it without chicken breast when ordering – try substituting sautéed mushrooms or tomatoes instead. This meal also pairs well with the side of chips and guac.

The avocado toast is a fully vegan option that you’ll find on the ‘Small Plates and Snacks’ menu. It’s made from grilled artisan bread and topped off with fresh mashed avocado, marinated tomatoes, arugula, radish and red onion. It’s drizzled with lemon juice and olive oil. If you’re still hungry, pair the avocado toast with the Little House Salad. There’s several vegan dressing options including the Lemon Vinaigrette, Shallot Vinaigrette, Red Wine Vinaigrette, Skinny Mustard Vinaigrette and the French Mustard dressing which is also gluten free.

9. Skinny Impossible Burger

If you’d like to enjoy a smaller vegan burger, opt for this one off of the ‘Skinnylicious’ menu. This burger is vegan as long as you order it without mayo. It comes with a small green salad served with skinny mustard vinaigrette. If you’d like to add some veggies to your meal, order a side of fresh corn, green beans, spinach, broccoli or asparagus. Just make sure to order without any added butter.

This Italian dish is an easy go-to Cheesecake Factory vegan option. Made with egg-free noodles, the Pasta Pomodoro is tossed in a housemade marinara sauce along with Italian cherry tomatoes and fresh basil. The Pasta Pomodoro is usually served with spaghetti, but you can swap for any pasta shape you’d like.
