Reheat Corn on the Cob in the Oven

The easiest and best way to reheat corn on the cob is in the oven. This will take you less than 10 minutes you preheat your oven to 350°F.
- Take some aluminum foil and wrap around each cob of corn after adding a little salt, pepper, butter, and whatever seasonings you prefer. To make sure the corn cob doesn’t dry out, drizzle a teaspoon of water over it.
- Wrap the foil around the corn and twist the ends to prevent steam from escaping.
- Take the wrapped corn cobs and heat them in the oven for about 5 to 10 minutes.
- Once you are satisfied the corn cob is properly reheated, remove it and enjoy!
Reheating Corn on the Cob on the Stove
This method works best for fresh corn on the cob and when you don’t really feel like lighting the oven just to reheat leftovers.
- Bring a large pot of water to boil, then gently place the corn cobs in.
- Continue to boil until you are sure that the corn is properly heated, this should take less than five minutes.
- Once done, take the corn cobs out of the hot water and place them on a serving dish before adding the usual salt, pepper, and other seasonings.
Tip: If you are working with frozen leftover corn on the cob, this stovetop method is the way to go, you will just need to boil for twice as long, say 8 to 10 minutes for the best results.
How to Reheat Corn on the Cob in the Microwave

The microwave is a time-saving kitchen tool, especially when reheating leftovers. Because of how quickly it cooks, however, you will need to be careful and make sure your microwave doesn’t overdo it and render your leftover corn cobs inedible. Here’s how to reheat corn on the cob in the microwave:
- Place your corn cobs on a microwave-safe dish and cover them with a clean, damp kitchen towel or plastic wrap.
- Set the microwave for 10 to 20 seconds cycles – this allows you to heat the corn slowly rather than overcooking and causing the corn kernels to split and pop open.
- Repeat this process until the corn cob is warm enough before removing it from the microwave for serving.
