Juice pops are sweet and simple to make. Enjoy these homemade vegan popsicles on a hot, sunny day, while using less plastic packaging than store-bought popsicles.
Juice pops look and taste delicious and are quick and easy to make – a tasty treat for kids and grown-ups too. Choosing seasonal fruits (such as strawberries in summer) can also help lower the carbon footprint of these juice pops. Another reason to make your own popsicles is that it reduces waste. If you buy a popsicle from the store it comes in plastic packaging, with a wooden stick and it would have arrived in the store in a cardboard box, after travelling some miles.
When you make these pops at home, you need to use a mold. You can choose one made from stainless steel (such as the ecozoi stainless steel popsicle molds available on Amazon**), plastic or silicone. For these vegan homemade juice pops you’ll need a freezer, a popsicle mold and a blender. Then you can just have fun trying out your favorite recipes.
