Homemade vegan strawberry milk is natural and only needs four ingredients, it can be made sugar-free and uses plant-based milk. Try this yummy, summery strawberry milk recipe.
Homemade vegan strawberry milk is easy to make and only has four ingredients — sugar, plant-based milk, water, and strawberries, so you don’t get any of the preservatives or artificial flavoring that comes with store-bought flavored milk. It is quick to make and can be done with or without a blender. Fresh, in-season (summer) strawberries will work best, but frozen strawberries can also be used, check out how to freeze strawberries.
The best plant-based kinds of milk for this recipe are those which aren’t too watery, like almond milk and cashew milk. You can also choose to go sugar-free, but remember that this will make the drink less thick and syrupy. As well as a drink, vegan strawberry milk can be used on other dishes, such as on breakfast cereal like muesli, healthy homemade granola, or overnight oats and you can adapt the recipe by adding different berries.
If you have bought your ingredients already but aren’t making the vegan strawberry milk on the same day, try washing the strawberries with vinegar to keep them fresh longer. Also find out how to keep strawberries fresh in general, so none of them spoil before you use or eat them.
