Golden matcha latte is a caffeinated drink packed with antioxidants to help you boost your immune system. If you are trying to stay away from coffee, try this golden matcha recipe to kick off the day!

Golden matcha latte is a caffeinated drink traditionally from Japan, and it has gotten a lot of popularity worldwide. It differs from green tea in that the leaves are processed into a powder, which is the matcha powder used to make this drink. Matcha has a lot of health benefits due to its high number of antioxidants and of EGCg (epigallocatechin gallate), which helps lower cholesterol levels, and it is believed to have cancer-fighting properties. In this article we’ll show you how to make both iced and hot golden matcha latte that is gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan paleo.

  • 1 cup plant milk of your choice
  • ¼ tsp. ground turmeric
  • 1/8 tsp. ground ginger

For Iced Golden Matcha:

  1. In a blender, add the plant milk alongside all the spices, the natural sweetener, and the matcha powder, and blend until smooth.
  2. Fill a glass of water with ice, pour your golden matcha latte, and enjoy a refreshing drink!
