Vegan Homemade Pumpkin Spice Latte Recipe

While you can take the easy way and purchase both canned pumpkin purée and pumpkin pie spice in a grocery store, making your own spice blend and pumpkin purée adds an extra special element.
To make the perfect pumpkin pie spice blend, combine the following ingredients:
- 3 tsp. cinnamon
- 2 tsp. ground ginger
- 2 tsp. nutmeg
- 2 tsp. allspice
- 1 tsp. ground cloves
- 1 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
Tip: You can also use this blend to make vegan pumpkin cheesecake.
The following recipe will make two homemade pumpkin spice lattes.
Ingredients
- 1¼ cups homemade oat milk
- ¾ cup strong brewed fair trade coffee
- 3 tbsp. pumpkin purée
- 3 tbsp. organic maple syrup
- 1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
- ½ tsp. pure vanilla extract
Instructions
- Add all the ingredients into a blender or food processor, and blend until smooth and frothy.
- Pour the liquid mixture into a small saucepan and heat it on medium-low heat. Whisk the mixture frequently.
- Once the mixture is heated through, remove from the stove and pour into two separate mugs.
- You can add some more pumpkin pie spice, or vegan whipped cream on top for an extra luxurious beverage.
